The main task of an ambassador is to help in spreading the word about TED in general and TEDxABQ in particular.

As we do believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world; we are pleased to invite you either to come, get involved and inspire us with your compelling idea. Or, you can come and join our inspiring journey in which you will enjoy witnessing a new sun rising from the horizon of New Mexicos` creativity.

These are some guidelines that might help you in your task:

1. Talk to your sphere of people about TEDs mission of spreading new ideas and what they can benefit from participating in TEDxABQ.
2. Share with your people the talks you like on TED and encourage them to comment on them.
   1. You might share the talks on your facebook profile or twitter account.
   2. Invite friends and acquaintances to TEDxABQ meetups and tweetups.
   3. Spread the word with excitement!
   4. Maybe you can invite some of your friends over and watch the talks together.
3. Invite your friends to join our Facebook fan page (TEDxABQ) and follow us on Twitter (@TEDxABQ).
4. Become an active member on our Facebook fan page! Try to share any of your ideas or favorite talks with all the other fans.
5. The ultimate goal of a representative is to encourage others to become representatives themselves!
