TEDxABQ is just a few days away. Want it to be fantastic? Here’s what you need to know:
Registration opens at 8:30 am. Come prepared with your ticket voucher, which you should have received via email. If you have NOT received your voucher with your name clearly printed on it, please email us as soon as possible.
***This is a sold-out event. If you don’t have a voucher or your name is not on our list of attendees from Eventbrite, you will not be admitted.***
Those without a ticket will be directed to the TEDxABQ@UNM simulcast. In the event that it sells out prior to our event, you will have access to the simulcast from any internet location (a web address will be provided closer to the event).
It’s worth coming early, as we will have multiple speaker alumni on-hand, including the Fractal Foundation, One Million Bones, and Ideum. They’ll have fantastic, fun displays worth checking out before the show. We’ll have coffee from Flying Star Cafe & Satellite Coffee, and plenty of space for attendees to mingle and talk.
Theater doors open at 9:30 am. Tickets are for general seating. Get there early to get a good seat.
Show starts promptly at 10 am. If you arrive late, feel free to enjoy our posh TEMA seating and livestream footage from the hallway.
We will have two breaks during the day, one for lunch (included in the price of your ticket), and one to encourage conversation in the afternoon.
There will be TEDxABQ t-shirts available for a donation. All proceeds will go toward TEDxABQ 2012.
Come prepared to absorb new ideas, make new connections, and celebrate the best of New Mexico! (Oh, and hug a volunteer while you’re at it. They’ve worked all year to make this event a reality.) We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
Any questions? Happy to help. Email me.

Hugely anticipating the coffee and camaraderie Saturday!
I purchased 2 tkts and have to leave town on business, anyone needing tickets, I have 2! Also, my and my husbands name on them, will someone else be able to use them???? bothiam@msn.com
Hi Cynthia – You’re smart to post your tickets to our blog and Facebook page. If you find someone who wants to purchase them, we ask that you email us with your information, as well as the name and email address of the person (or people) who bought them. That way, we can ensure they won’t have any trouble getting into the event. Thank you for asking!
I look forward to being inspired absorbing new ideas, making new connections, and celebrating the best of New Mexico!
I have to come late–best to arrive at the lunch break? When will late-commers be allowed into the show?
Hi, Evan! Glad you checked in – Feel free to come whenever you’d like. You’ll be able to watch the show on monitors from the hall until lunch, and then you’re free to join us in the theater.
