The Intersection of Hollywood and TED!

With all the media swirling about the upcoming release of the Hollywood film “Eat Pray Love” starring Julia Roberts, it seemed fitting to share a popular TED talk given by the author, Elizabeth Gilbert. The film, based on Gilbert’s best-selling book, chronicles the author’s world voyage of self-discovery. A few of us TED conference planners are going to see it on Friday – We’re very excited to see how they adapt this great book to the big screen.

So, what makes Elizabeth Gilbert so intriguing that Hollywood decided to make a movie about her life? I’m pleased to share her TED talk with you, which has become one of the most watched TED videos of all time. I’ve seen this talk at least a half-dozen times, and I’ll be watching it again this morning. There’s something about her message that motivates the creator in all of us.

I give you  Nurturing Creativity by Elizabeth Gilbert. Hope you all have a great day!
